Sensei Irvin Faust has trained in martial arts for over 30 years and holds a 6th degree (Shidoin) black belt in Aikido. He is also ranked in Karate, Kung-Fu and Tae-Kwon-Do. Faust has trained with Yamada Sensei and Kanai Sensei in NY as well as having traveled to Japan to participate in raining and demonstrations. Sensei Faust is the founder of the successful Alany Aikikai in NY. Faust offers RPI students a high caliber of instruction in both physical and the philosophical foundations of Aikido.
